*NOTE: 100 ft and 330 ft cords do not connect end-to-end (see "Connection" below).

**The 14 gauge cord allows you to run longer lengths and has a bit heavier duty wiring (one extra weather-resistant layer). The 16 gauge cord is robust enough for outdoor use, but light enough for easy installation (about 1/2 the weight of the 14 gauge wire). The 18gauge cord is robust enough for outdoor use and includes the extra weather-resistant wire layer. All cords provide heavy-duty construction for outdoor use and weather resistant-sockets.

Product Details:

• For indoor or outdoor use. Suitable for permanent outdoor installation.
• Plastic bulbs are shatter-resistant with a smooth plastic shell.
• Bulk reels DO NOT come with a plug. They are intended to be hard-wired to a power source or have an electrician install a plug (we do not sell plugs at this time).
• High quality PVC sockets form a snug, weather‐resistant seal around the bulb. You must keep a bulb in every socket to maintain weatherproof quality.
• cTUVus Listed to UL standard UL588 for wet location all-year use. Cord safety rating is void if product is cut.
• For IP64 rating, interconnected strings must be properly sealed and strain relief protected with electrical tape at each connection point. Any cut ends must be sealed with an end cap and heat sealed or electrical tape (ensure proper seal to preclude entrance of water).
• Keep bulbs/sockets at least 16 feet away from pools and spas.
• Install with sockets facing downward and bulb in every socket.
• Assembly required. Bulbs will need to be screwed in. 
• For spans longer than 20 feet, use a steel cable guide wire.
• The 14AWG sockets have two mounting ears built into each side of the base, the 16AWG sockets do not have any mounting loops, and the 18AWG sockets have a loop on the top of the socket (see thumbnail picture above).
