LED string lighting is also more energy efficient and longer lasting, hence the reason this outdoor string light set is so popular. Note: The 14 gauge cord is currently not available as a set with these G50 bulbs due to inconsistency with getting the bulbs tight enough into the thicker 14 gauge socket. They work easily in the 16 gauge cord options. Contact us for further information.

*The key differences between the two cord options are the 14AWG cord allows you to run longer lengths (see "Max Run" below), and it has a bit more insulation around the wiring. The benefit to the 16AWG cord is it's robust enough for commercial use but light enough for easy installation (about 1/2 the weight of the 14AWG wire). Both cords provide heavy-duty construction and weatherproof sockets.

Product Details:

• For indoor or outdoor use. Suitable for permanent outdoor installation.
• High quality PVC sockets form a snug, weather‐resistant seal around the bulb. You must keep a bulb in every socket to maintain weatherproof quality.
• The 48 ft cord (14AWG) is cTUVus Listed to UL standard UL588 for wet location all-year use. Cord safety rating is void if product is cut.
• For IP64 rating (14AWG cords), interconnected strings must be properly sealed and strain relief protected with electrical tape at each connection point.
• Keep bulbs/sockets at least 16 feet away from pools and spas.
• Assembly required. Bulbs will need to be screwed in. Install with bulbs facing downward.
• For spans longer than 20 feet (14AWG cord) or 25 feet (16AWG), use a steel cable guide wire.
• The 14AWG sockets have two mounting ears built into each side of the base, and the 16AWG sockets do not have any mounting loops (see thumbnail picture above).
